Salam guys.. and a BIG HI! hehe sorry its been a month! i guess i'm busy with things.. besides my beloved family ive one big interest now, world of warcraft. *gasp* hehe & guess what? i convinced the hubby to try it out.. made him a trial account and he started playing it too and hes a rogue level 38! *bye bye fear combat* =p

so yeah speaking of it. im still playing my priest, remember rhaynes? no alt yet and shes lvl 62 now!! and also my lil sis midge, shes playing it too after i played it awhile and now midge own a mage lvl 61. she's a very fast learner! i dont really remember that she's intrested in mmorpg games though besides playing RO on and off .. but i definitely remember that shes into console games. definitely a console freak. u name it.. hehe oh!! but then the winner trophy goes to my big brother joul. lol! from console to pc u name it!!

anyways, i finally got the time to update my blog today since the sever is down for bout 6 -+ hours *every tuesday* for maintenance.. hehe i just got back from bandar with my lil bro waki.. we went for sushi and then out for a lil bit of shopping and went back at ard 10pm.. and now im hopelessly waiting for the server is up again! lol im just joking hehe im not saying im addicted to it but i guess im happy that ive something to do apart from doing the house chores and watching TV and besides my son wouldnt want me to watch TV ok.. i know because he want to watch BARNEY and HI-5 and MANNY and THOMAS and AFC!! LOL so here i am giving up the tv for my beloved son.. *cough* im gona post a few pics on my virtual progress. hope u guys enjoy the screen shot =p

WAFFLES

try this out guys. its simple, easy and of course delicious!!

So basically what you need is

2 cups of flour - all purpose flour
4 tea spoon of Baking Powder
3 tea spoon of sugar
2 Eggs separated
1 1/2 cups of milk * can use susu manis just add water! be simple ;)
Butter or oil untuk memanaskan pan saja! :))
kacang/peanut spread
kaya/ egg jam spread
and lastly iron waffle/ waffle maker..
if you have iron waffle use it. if u dont, its okay it tasted the same :)

oh wat you going to do is,

Beat the eggs whites until stiff and keep aside.
In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks till creamy.
Continue the beating, adding milk.
Mix all dry ingredients together, add slowly, beating until smooth.
Add the egg whites and melted butter.
Place 1/2 cup of batter onto a preheated, lightly greased waffle maker.
Close lid. Bake until golden about 2 minutes.
Repeat with remaining batter.

and... Alhamdulilah the weather is hot and sunny today. i did some laundry this afternoon with a happy smile on my face! and good news about the flash flood, the water is getting low in some affected areas.. bad news, if its uberly hot today it could be raining in some areas too. so let us pray for the goodness.. Salam hi guys.. this picture was taken last night on the 5th february 2009,i didn't get to take it in the morning because my hubby was busy with their school which is also affected by the flood.. so i went to visit my kampong at around 6pm.. sorry its was kinda blurry! i took it from the inside of my hubby's 4x4, *begagar* it was raining heavily and the water level was surpassing! i mean uberly fast!

Salam hi guys. its been a very hectic day for our family and for the rest of the village for the last 3 days.. its been raining around the clock!! -
My Aunt house in Tanjong Maya is currently on threat! * we have our room there.. and usually if its flooding, my room and the back yard of the house was the only area affected but now you wont believe me - its the worst flood ever!! the water level was up my waist!! oh ya inside the house, wait!! the entire house, from the garage, front porch to the back of the house! here i post few pictures taken on the 4th February 2009. and it is the 1st day of the endless raining.. - it is is informed that it will be raining from the 4th until 7th February! & today is just the second day.. !! I'll post more pictures of area affected day by day.. so stay update!

THIS 4X4 ROCKS!! this baby owns a diesel 6 cylinder 4000cc 2h, 35 inch Silverstone MT-117 mud terrains, 5" shackles, custom leaf springs, Australian ROH rims, custom bumper, Monroe shock absorbers and custom made nature rusty look paint job and bullet holes on where the side fenders used to be, just to get the ghetto look! HAHAHA!

hi! after finished watching twilight i looked up my watch, it was 11:38pm and im not feeling sleepy.. not yet! Wafi was in his dreamland after watching 35 minutes of the twilight and my hubby was playing FEAR combat online peacfully hehe so anyway, i took out another dvd from my magical box *lol too much movies* okay i know its kinda last minute, but i just finished watching bedtime stories starring Adam Sandler *hes one of my fav actor!* its a comedy about a hotel handyman. a janitor and general servant.. actually his father owns the hotel but his father have to sell it to Nottingham who promises to make Marty's son manager but when Nottingham announces a brand-new gigantic hotel project, he makes his future son-in-law, Kendall the manager! sucks.. but one day his sister wants him to babysits her two children, bobby and patrick. So make long story short, one night, he tell them a bedtime story which turn out to become true in real life.. hehe well love the story i had a big laugh last night.. so again to those who havent watch this, give urself a try.. u might gona love it!

hi guys.. guess what! i know its kinda too late but i actually just finished watching twilight! i'm not some die-hard vampire fan or anything, not until today!

i think ive a thing for vampire.. theyre sensuous in a way! lol hehe well for me the story was very catchy & its addictive! Edward cullen character was so perfect. the pale look looks amazing! the stories are different from any other vampires story.. u know i thought there would be some killing scene where one of the vampire will turned to ashes when killed just like buffy? or like in the movie blade, daywalkers are vampires that come out in the daytime and killed them with silver bullet but not in twilight! well its a new era vampire with modern twist i guess! anyway, to those who havent watch twilight.. give it a try you might gona love it! ;) ciao

recipe #1 Chicken Bread Crumbs

chicken bread crumbs

this special recipe reminds me of a special friend back in my college years.. she usually brought me this for lunch! well, ive been eager to bake this for ages but couldnt find the exact recipe.. but i kinda remember the ingredients.. which actually helped me alot in the making of :)

what you need:

5 pieces of bread loaf (cut it into small piece)
65gm of chicken meat - minced/ cut into dice
125gm of shredded carrot
2 eggs
275ml of milk
25gm of fried shallots (big ones/bawang bombay)
salt to taste
a bit of chicken stock / i use one cube
a bit of pepper
chesse - shredded as many as u like.
bread crumbs

step 1:

mixed all the indgredients & leave it for awhile for about 5mins!

step 2,

put the mixture into a baking tin. press it until firm. ( u can cover the top with the left overs - cheese & carrot)
bake for 30 - 45 mins. when cooked let it cool.

step 3,

sorry no picture taken for this step because im too busy to take pictures. lol.

ok, for this step you'll need one egg, flour, bread crumbs and hot pan ready..

spoon out the baked chicken bread
dip it onto the egg, and bath it with flour and bread crumbs, roll it nicely..
and fried it until golden brown! ready to serve and eat!

well, i didnt use any bread crumbs though..
hehe kelupahan!!

easy baking: homemade apple pie!

Hi frens!! me and hubby loves apple pie very much.. then it became more serious after watching this tv shows, pushing daisies * lots of pies scene* hehe we crave for it all the time!!! so usually we just buy a slice each from a bakery shop.. the price? well its quite expensive for a slice of an apple pie though!! hehe anyways, i actually baked one today!! budget for whole pie (8 slices)? imagine a slice of apple pie from a bakery shop cost you $3 each.. well my budget today for the whole pie less than 10$!!

picture taken on the 7.12.2008 at rizqun hotel. finally after 2 weeks of well planned for family relaxing day.. my beloved family, beloved aunties and also nieces checked in last saturday.. hehe and yep the next day my son had his first swimming at rizqun baby pool! he was all excited! and yepp the water was very cold!! salam all... guess what! its our annual wedding anniversary today.. and yep, im a happy bunny! :))
hehe i kinda happy because my anniversary surprise for my hubby worked! well i came with a riddle idea... i know it sounds kidy but then its fun and romantic! :) starts from the door of our bedroom, behind the monitor then to the red box and bla bla bla.. hehehe sort of many obstacle to get it though.. and lastly i actually hide it under the pillows haha he was exhautsed with the riddle thing... so he said he wanted to rest and search for it later.. lol i knew it! so i said just finished the riddle.. yep he did..
it was right under his head.. hehe so elahh i actually wrote something in a card and i asked him to read before opening the suprise gift. guess what.. my dearest didnt want to read it yet because i was sitting next to him and he said will read it later while im not around because he said he afraid that he gona cry..
awww kinda touchy though.. hehe so then he read it when i was actually pretending that im not looking lol!!
opened the box and yepp he loves itt!! im happy and glad that he actually loves what i bought him.. i didnt know wat to get him at first but i wanted somthing that he will remembers of me, everyday... apanah ku bagi??

wow its 2am in the morning.. just had our anniversary dinner together! haha and i guess thats all for now..

first of all, i would like to wish all my family, friends and also readers a very happy raya.. :)
my today story on 1st day of syawal..? well actually i didnt spend much visiting today.. after visiting two houses - my hubby's side, we went back home and off to bed! haha
my beloved son wafi pun tdur! jarang ni wafi kan tdur tengah hari.. he was very energetic today.. ah i guess he was all excited to see many people gather around in one house.. hehe lari sana sini ya tadi. kidssss!
so woke up at ard 4pm and to my suprised there was still families from bandar in the living room.. haish wafi was eager to get out from the bedroom but hehe mana boleh tu ada kan di uyung tu ksana kemari.. kena quarantine lah hehe... btw im still sleepy. need to rest much..

anyways, i didnt take pictures today.. but ill try to take some later on.. or maybe tomorrow..
and as for my mom, usually she will be back in Brunei during raya.. but i guess she couldnt make it this time. so mom if ure reading this, i wish u a happy raya, take care and love you loads!! :)

salam. hi all havent update since last mnth! yep im uberly busy :) besides busy baking cakes & biscuits, we also finally managed to send our son's nanny back, not to indon but to where she wanted to work with! weird lol. demanding hantap!! bascially shes not our maid plang konon pasal its not us yg pay her. but then she was paid to take care of our son and also to help me with house chores..? yelah, udah tau yg bukan kami yg pay her monthly so shes kinda neglecting in a way! bedulur jua sudah. makin di dulur makin menjadi lol. bangun pukul 7. makan sukati pilih. bedulur berhp. haha anyways, that doesnt matter alhamdulilah everyting doing just fine.. kalau di biarkan arah kami ada yg naik blood pressure leh nya ni! hhaha..

lots of things to say.. but so little time.. ani pun just a quick post! coz im in the middle of membuat cake actually.. :) so i guess ill update lagi ltr k? insyallah..

Hi All. Sorry for the lake of updates… me and hubby had been busy setting domain and searching for a free web hosting for the NNLR community official websites. So far, like Xanga or geocitites they only support domain that you bought from them.. mcm pakai plan lah.. If u bought domain from everywhere else nda Tia dpt tu... haiya! Or rr maybe I don’t know how to direct link it yet…
Anyway’s. We went to effen’s place last night for a BBQ (27/8) ... Basically all familiar faces were seen! Haha it was fun even though chickens and sausages were the only carte du jour. Oh! Btw, it is raining when I typing this on MW to be save for later!! & I was wondering will it stop raining??
(29/8) Tonight midge invite us all to her house for friends gathering.. Well we supposed to come to her house with bikes as requested hehhe I hope it will stop sooner or i guess we just have to drive later…

hi all. hehe guess what? ive been busy trying to watch weeds season 3!! u guys should watch it hehe weeds is about http://www.showcase.ca/weeds/about.aspx well i remember my cuz introduced it to me last year!! it was season one though it was actually aired year 2005!! which leads the addiction for me and hubby yet until i bought my self a season 2 this year, somewhere in march. we finished watching the complete season one and two! glad my hubby loves to watch it :) its an addiction for both of us! the season 3 is actually back on aired 2007. but i couldn't find season 3 in Brunei so i thought weeds is dead. lol hehe not untill last last week i played weeds season 2, thought it would keep me entertain and watched it again & again which bring addiction to watch the continuation - leads to season 3.

What you need //

Glutinous rice flour - tepung beras pulut

Rice flour – tepung beras

Water – secukupnya

Drops of food coloring – I use purple color

Gula Melaka – brown sugar

Grated coconut –I use bread crumbs hehe you should try it!!

//Preparation:

In a bowl, Mix 3 cups of glutinous rice flour, with 1 cup of rice flour.

In a glass of water, drop a tiny drop of food coloring.

Pour the colored water into bowl of flour and mix it well until it form into slightly soft dough. It should be firm but soft and not sticky to your fingers!

When it’s done, you need to ready a hot boiling pan.

Here’s a simple step of what to do with the flour that you’ve mix!

Steps 1 – roll the dough into small ball – any size u like.

Step 2- press the middle of the dough
Step 3- add in the gula Melaka

Back to step 1, roll it back until it form into round ball. – to cover the gula Melaka inside..

Next step is… in a hot boiling pan, put the rounded ball in and it is ready to be taken out when the balls started to float!

roll it & cover it with grated coconut.
me using bread crumbs.

and finally,

allow to cool. serve & ready to be eaten!!

Oh yes!! Look at that sweetness!! Hehehe

hi all. i just finished eating with hubby & haziq our nephew's.. Tonite i cooked Daging masak kicap - beef in soy sauce well just a simple one though.. ;) hehe dnt like the hassle when cooking away from the kitchen i used to get busy with well.. since im in my mother in law! but then it was not bad at all here coz all ingredients is there! serve 2 person only!
tapi kalau rangka sorang cukup.. hehehe =p so here it goes...

DAGING MASAK KICAP SIMPLE!

//what you need is //

Beef 150gm - cut into smaller parts! kalau rebus dulu supaya lembut
soy sauce - sweetened
oyster sauce
salt to taste
water
grounded fresh pepper - to taste

*ingredients z - all cuts into dice/
.shallots
.ginger
.onions
.garlic

preparation//

In hot pan, fry all ingredients z until its aroma comes out, or until u know when it is cook.
put in the meat. mix it well. add water n let it for awhile until the water turns a little bit dry, to let the beef soft and cooked.
add 2 table spoon of soy sauce and 1 table spoon of oyster sauce. pepper, add in water.
cooked and serve hot!!

// what you need is //
all purpose flour

1 pack of yeast

garlic - dlm 4 biji di blended.

water

how to prepare// easy & simple!

In a bowl, add 3 cups of flour mix with 1 packet of yeast,

garlic and water until it form into a soft dough.. leave it for at least 24hrs. if nda sabar, goreng saja tia kali! hehe.. well wait at least nampak kambang pun ok! seriously hehe kalau penyabar, tunggu saja lah k.. baru nyaman :)

Hi all! Hoorays!! My ankle cast was finally remove last Tuesday… So no more curfews!! But I know, still I’ve to be careful… fisrt of all, cerita about yesterday.. well...

As for remembrance, my hubby brought me to the cinema last night! We planned to watch “Kungfu Panda” – thought it already play on screen but the premier is this coming Friday. Hehe we booked us tickets for this Friday. Anyone wants to join? hehe

Back to last night, since we were up for a movie, me and hubby decided to watch “dooms day”! its a sci-fi, thriller movie. directed by Neil Marshall.

hehe we never argue on choosing movies coz we both love the same taste! btw, the movieee... it was a nice-to-watch movie. I personally rate it 7/10. I thought the movie would be super creepy but… nda jua seberapa... but thennn the story line was actually not bad. Nda jua mengantuk oleh nya!!

Ehehe ada lagi... apa nahh masa ku masuk ke panggung ah, hehe I was very cautious! I really looked down on the steps, even count it! Kes uri!! takut terpelicuk.. terkanang ku my cuzen pun pernah jua terpelicuk di cinema... tapi ya nda papa hehe steady yaw even wearing 4inch heels masa atu! hehehe namanya ehemm.. HIGH aka weed aka rumputkaring. nah ia sendiri menjwab ni lol!

Malay cuisine // ayam masak merah - simple!!

Hi all.. As for today’s brunch - our breakfast and lunch, I cooked “ayam masak merah” well… just a simple one…
as usual the hubby helped me with chopping the whole chicken into parts. Thank you very much.

Hehe the result was scrumptious… I like it and so did the hubby! And that’s nothing else matter coz this wife of his is absolutely happy when her hubby enjoyed her cooking’s... hehe :)
Anyway, Im happy to share ya’ll the recipe... enjoy and happy trying!

AYAM MASAK MERAH

What you need is:

A one whole chicken and cut it into parts.

(z) Ingredients / to be blended in a food food-processor:

3 cm of ginger

8 pieces of shallots

4 pieces of garlic

Other ingredients:

1 cup of chili sauce – I use maggi brand

½ cup of tomato sauce – maggi brand

1 table spoon of vinegar – I use limau kasturi juice

1 table spoon of sugar

Salt to taste

Preparation

Step 1: marinate the chicken parts with salt and kasturi juice.

Leave it for at least 5 minutes. Fry up when it is ready. Set aside.

Step2: In hot pan, fry all ingredients (z) until it is slightly dried up… then add chili sauce and tomato sauce, add a little bit of water, add chicken and boiled it up until it looks gravy & cooked! Wala!!

AYAM MASAK MERAH – is a Malay cuisine. Usually to be served to guests in a Malay wedding ceremony, Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration and any other special occasion!

Assalamualaikum…
Hi all, sorry for the lake of updates. Yups I know it’s been pretty long time… Anyway, I sprain my ankle last 4 days. Ouch!! I was in the cinema when it happened. Hehe fortunately, I managed to finish the iron man and then noticed that it hurts badly when I tried to get up! We Straight away to Ripas emergency, went x-ray & the result.. there was a slightly fracture. Kana separuh simin lah kaki ku.. Nothing serious it just that the doctor advised me to give dem’ ankle a one week rest!
Anyway, thanks for hubby for lifting me up all the way to the car! Lol & that people thought it was a romantic stunt! Haha!! And thanks to ka lin for the treat and also sorry for the trouble that night.. She was cool! She waited me all that night went to x-ray dept together and talked with my doctor about my situation and stuffs.. Thank you!
Oh yep, one more thing, there will be a BBQ picnic coming soon for NNLR’s family and friends, after a few votes on deciding the setting, the venue will be held at Seri kenangan Beach.. Ok guys? Hehe No comments! Ok cheers and im out!

Assalamualaikum! How’s everyone? Sorry for the sluggish update! I guess we’ve been very busy with commitments these days… Anyhow, nothing much for keeping this blog posted…

As usual the crime scene is still on for breakfast, lunch and dinner for our empty stomach to fill in and yet so far I have not doing entertaining cookery in the kitchen due to the non stop schedules…

For our newest issue
Me and hubby had been trying to get our espeed refund back which we waited for 3 weeks now. I’ve called them twice so far and said they going to call me back; which I already stake that they’re not going to call me anyway! Well Of course! Hehe So much trouble for a $68 //
So then I called them again yesterday and said that they already sent our paperwork to Bandar TelBru. Which I guess they manage to take action after my few annoying calls hahaha well they sure asked for my contact no again! lol balik2 jua tu! I am not pleased! Its only 68$ not $68k??
Later that evening, hubby went to TelBru yesterday to confirm what their real problem was. And that in fact they have not called TelBru in Bandar, coz apparently, this lady just rang them up in front of my hubby!! Then notify my hubby that the people in Bandar TelBru wanted a signature or initial from tutong telbru. *^&$#@ the heck…
See people, how much effort and how much trouble do we have to push things just to make it work? Weird isn’t it? I mean what if I didn’t call them after returning our modem back? Whoa. I bet it take years! XD

The daddy is currently busy getting back his FJ60 A.L.I.V.E!! Hehe while the baby is learning how to walk and happy busy with his form fitter hehe you know it’s a teaching basic toy for toddlers to learn shapes and colors. It’s like a box with matching colorful shapes and textures with matching holes. Tada! Baby loves it when he got the shapes in, coz I said “horray “ and kiss him when he got it right.. well… That what’s mummy do, to love & to support…

hi! As usual i'm at my mother in law's house for updates! well it could have been in any place but i guess its relaxing here!.. oh wait!it could be at my place becoz we got espeed installed already AH! but blame it to the Telbru they have not activate our link yet. so i guess i have to wait until monday!insyallah. sigh... anways, there's nothing much to blog actually hehe i guess im just addicted to rant anything here..

continue: hi all. im back! hehe so yes i had burger!! my hubby was the chef for tonight! thank god.. hehe im so tired to cook today that was why im thinking of burgers and the fact that my abg didi's blog mentioned that he had burger during last fasting month! gulp! tais liur ku hehe and yet it is fast and simple to cook!! my stomach was yelling for help!
anyway, to thank my beloved hubby, here i post up few pictures and also recipe of his home made burgers that he made it from the scratch! *big clap* except for the buns! we bought it from mums bakery tadi hehe lol he named it "homemade SA burgers aka streetkandy's addiction burgers" awww thank you!!

how to prepare the beef
what you need

minced beef
1 whole of garlic
salt and pepper to taste
tomato sauce

step one, cut clean the garlic, diced - my hubby use garlic masher, its trouble free and save time!
add with the minced beef and mix well.
step 2, add salt, 4 tablespoon of tomato sauce and a little of pepper to taste. mix well.
shape it into a big ball of meat! now u gonna need an egg, dip it in and lastly, cook it in a hot pan.
and don't forget to flatten the meat balls into a burger-like shape! ;)

first, spread mayonnaise on the bun.
add cheese and then the beef.
tomatoes. u can add salad, onions - well, basically just add anything u like!!

RANDOMS: OFF RIDING TO L.A DONUTS/ RAINING / PM TIME

Hi all. Me and hubby went off for riding to Gadong last Sunday. . We headed to Pantai Seri Kenangan at around 6pm for warming up then straight away to Bandar from Jalan Tutong road, jalan lama. Our first stop was at filling station in Beribi for refueling our stallion, I mean hubby’s bike! hehe
well It was slighty raining at certain parts so, we stopped at Hua ho tanjong Bunut to wear our rain jackets.. Then funny that the rain just ended by the time we reached jangsak!!
It was absolutely hot with my hooded sweater on, icon jacket on and the rain jacket on!! @#! $% when we reached gadong area, our first stop was L.A donuts! Lol yep we still crave for donuts. We bought half dozen of donuts that night. 3 cheese donuts, 1 Oreo, 1
Chocolate tiramisu and 1 chocolate strawberry. Hehe the hubby ate most of it!!
Oh by the way, the Oreo tasted better than the one in fun donuts. Really! Coz their Oreo donuts taste really like Oreo’s but soft! Lol ah just try it u’ll know what I mean!

After chilling in L.A for awhile, I was still hungry and wanted to eat burger!! So we went to mall gadong, parked the bike in the basement.. Headed the lift and went to 3rd floor for burgers from Jollibee. - I remember there were this BMW new 3 series and 5 series exhibition on the 1st floor that night. I like the bmw 3
Later after finished our thing, around 9 ish, we decided to go home early… went out to the basement, guess what! It was actually raining outside!! Well we didn’t hear and we didn’t know though but all that incoming cars in the basement was all wet! So hubby went walk out from the basement to confirm hehe and also for his smoke break of course! well! Yep it was definitely a heavy downpour!! Bad!
We decided to go back inside…
Sitting and watching people passed us by and sukat kadai hehe we stopped at sours stand on the 2nd floor. And I bought sour worms and sours jelly. Well we had fun actually! =)
after like 30 minutes or so, we went to the Basement again. Hoping that the rain was actually stopped but not really becoz it was quite showery hehe plus this time there was even thunderstorms! Too bad!! Ahh thought of getting bored and tired of going inside again so me and hubby decided to crash out and flow with the rain! Haha we put on our rain jackets!! And headed back home via the hi way. Grrr it was cold!!
We reached home at around 10:30pm. Alhamadullilah! I took a few pictures that night.. Post it below! Enjoy

Sweet porridge

What you need:
(A)
2 cups of rice flour/ tepung beras
2 cups of glutinous flour / tepung pulut
Water
(B)
4 cups of coconut milk. I use coconut cream powder, just add water!
2 cups of brown sugar or gula melaka. I use 1 cup of brown sugar only
1 egg
Potatoes - sweet potatoes if available
A little bit of green coloring – I use yellow as well

Preparation:

(A) Mix rice flour with glutinous flour, add water, green color and mix well.
Shape it up into any shape u like! - I supposed that round shape would be fine..
Put (A) into hot boiling pat.. And toss it when it’s ready. Put aside.
(B) IN a new pan, pour coconut milk, brown sugar and egg. Mix and stir well until it’s boiled and
Lastly put (A) and mix it with (B) ! done! lol I guess that’s a very simple way to explain how it works!! Hehe

BLUEBERRY CHEESE TARTS #2

What you need

For the pastry /tart shell

160gm of butter
50gm of sugar
1 tea spoon of vanilla essence
Pinch of salt
1 egg grade B
250gm of CORN flour
Blueberry cheese tart fillings

What you need

250gm of Philadelphia cream cheese
50gm of castor sugar
20gm of butter
1 egg grade B
And blueberry filling or jams

Preparing the pastry for tart shells:
Step 1. Batter the butter with sugar, vanilla and salt until it fluffy soft.
Step 2. Add egg mix well. And add flour .shift first. Mix until it form into dough * the dough supposed to be soft
Step3. Put dough inside fridge for 20 mins before using it.

Preparing the blueberry cheese fillings:

Step 1. Batter the cream cheese, sugar and butter until it expand. Add egg and mix well.
Step 2. Fill it in a piping bag.
To finish: press dough into molding cups; make sure there’s a puncture in the middle, press the filling inside it..
Lastly add small amount of blueberry jam/filing.. Bake 180 degree Celsius for 15 mins.

Hellew all. The crime scene is recently on and off due to unavoidable commitments. So, we went hunting for food outside.. once in a while boleh lah makan di luar! =) Here is something to share about- last Wednesday, Me and hubby went to the food zone at Yayasan. We had dim sum and also bought donuts from FUN DONUTS. Yep finally we got the chance to buy and also to pick and choose their selection of donuts. Well, we bought half dozens of it. 2 ohhreoo’s, and each of Boston cream, lemon something hehe don’t remember the name, banana chocolate and also green tea… well, the taste was so – so. I mean seriously hehe I guess that is because me and hubby found its rival. Hehe talk about it later! Anyway, I snap a few pictures while having our lunch in food zone…

The next day, on a Thursday and still busy with our issues.. Hehe yes we had breakfast at home and later that afternoon we had lunch at the food court in Gadong, the mall. Hehe We went kampong cuisine this time! So we had nasi campur! – It’s a plain rice with any mix dishes u like!
Hmm… Sort of Buffet style! You get to pick any dishes that they already prepared and they will charged you on the amount of the dish you’ve pick. After deciding which food stalls and what food we wanted to eat,
We finally settled on this food stall FC4, named EMMA? Hehe I picked chicken in tomato sauce, Sambal terung and beef in soy sauce while the hubby choose, stir fry bean sprout, hati Ayam in curry sauce and cockles in tomato sauce. Well, for both plates it only cost us $5.00!! This means 2.50 per plate! And the food was excellent! I took pictures of our plates. Sorry for poor quality images.

CHOCOLATE MUFFINS

Hi all… while waiting for hubby back from work.. I entertained myself baking chocolate muffins hehe I post up few pictures and its recipe is listed below..

What you need is

250gm self raising flour
80gm of castor sugar
265gm of chocolate chips / or as many as u like
I also add chocolate rice – optional
1 egg
60gm of Butter (melt it first)
¾ of milk
Paper cups

Preparations:

Step one. Shift flour in a mixing bowl. Add chocolate chips and sugar. Mix well.
Step two. Add egg, butter and milk. Mix well.
Add milk if it’s dried up.
Lastly, put the mixture in a papercup. Bake for 20 – 25, 180°c. Or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

P/s: since the chocolate chips helps a lot and you don’t want the cake to be really sweet, please reduced sugar to 50gms... Enjoy!!

Marks: makes exactly 1 ½ dozens. It turns out that the muffin is quite crispy on the outside but soft in the inside.

hellew all.. im at my mother in law at the moment. its time for updates!! me n hubby went to the mall last tuesday.. there was this Pc fair and went to TelBru booth for espeed promotion, which only cost you 68/mnth with free registration and a modem. well, i hope everything is set up by the end of this month! yay! AAAnyway, i post up some pictures here taken frm my latest kicthen scenario. enjoy!!

first picture on the left - i named it "kandy fruity tart" (lol whats with this kandy thing!!) same goes with the one on the right.. i also made 5's small size tart that day. hehe oh just for the info, for the topping i use fresh cream with cheese and mix it with the cocktail leftover which the other half i baked it with the tart shells.. =) fruits in the inside and also more on the outside! ready to eat and serve chilled! wow!!!
eh!!! nah here also i post some pictures taken sometimes ago.. enjoy :))

left - this is kandy rainbow cake. simple yet delicious! my grandma loves this! hehe she asked me to bake this last mnth and already booked 4 trays for her coming birthday! lol and the list continues... egg tart and blueberry cheese tart and more!!!ROFL.

right - that was stir fry taugeh aka the bean sprout hehe i cooked it for our dinner some time in February. simple tapi umphh!!

well guess what, me and hubby gonna make pizza's soon.. aha just to refresh our secret recipes .. omg! this sux coz i just craving for pizza a second ago!!

hi all! im still stuck at my mother in law's hehe. have nothing to do but its all good just relaxing i guess, surfing the internet, yawning, listen to nat king cole on someone's blog lol. for lunch we had corned beef, sambal petai and sambal pisang - too bad i cant eat this! yep, i was supsrise coz havent heard of banana kena masak buat mcm sambal! hehe wanted to taste it but i knw tht would be a bad idea. well let me ask the hubby a sec. ok! it tasted sweet yet savoury? mcm peceri nenas. lol! elah! lupa ku mengambar tdi ehehe! anyway, i was thinking of this snack, - tomato seaweed and maybe i could make this seaweed for my new recipe invention.haha hmm... like, fried shitake mushrooms and mix it with tomato flavored seaweed? anyone up for a try? hehehe. oh well..

Assalamualaikum all. last night we went to kampong for family gathering. plus, celebrating my aunty, her daughther, alai balqis and also both of my brother's birhdays! - hm basically its for those who born in March hehe.. :) As usual i was busy in the kitchen - away this time, baking cupcakes for my beloved bro who recently craving for my cupcakes... hehe yea eebhu was there too! mana mau lapas ni ya ni!! :p
midge was there ( iya ni baik niiii...manis) and adek aka fried chicken addict ( lol sorry yaw couldnt think of ur TAG name yaw lol) wani CTL awu deh ku pikir Cacing Tikus Lipas wah! *hhehe* it was FUN! you know i was thinking of opening a bakery shop one day but i guess i just have to dream about it haha im pretty sure ive a lot of customers but 60% customernya tarus masuk dapur!!ahhaa uhuk! just joking u guyss..thank you all for the positive comments :) next gathering tani rasa yg lain lagi okay.. oh anyway, hhee my uncle usu - the one yg into cooking showed pictures of his lastest kitchen activity to me last nite. well im impressed!!! ada masakan ala grilled with presentation lagi tu hehe well he said he gona open his own food blog soon.. will share it with u guys if he tell me his website ok.. im at my mother in law at the moment. its getting dark but the time is just 4pm its going to rain soon!! oh there! my mother in law just off to kedai with my baby boy.. hehe im running out of idea. i guess i stop here for now. will update if ive to. ;)

hi all.. nothing much going on so far this week. my hubby is back from kk last sunday, the kitchen is back as well hehe... but since my hubby is on revive mode? things moves kinda slow at the moment lah.. hehe the boss still tired i guess.. anyways, we are on chicken fever for this week.. yep! chicken chicken and chicken! lol. we had lunch at ard 3pm.. makan simple sja.. fried chicken kampong style (lol ayam lagi) n den i was busy editing pictures for my hubby blogspot.. it was the picture from his KK trip. not all just half of it. some pictures taken was kinda blur!! so im here to patch things up mcm concealer! do visit www.newnolimitriders.blogspot.com for a sneak peak! =) anyways, im at my mother in law currently updating my blog next to my hubby. - hes busy updating his not so official blog for his bike group. hehe he hates it everytime i just seat next to him watching him blogging. im so annoying katanya! heheh! oh yea before im off, i would i like to wish two of my beloved brother's - abg joel and waki who celebrates their birhday today 27 of march!! nothing much for today activity! i guess since the hubby is off to kk for his freelance kk bike trip with his friends nothing much i would say hehe considering most of the time we usually do our things together! especially sunday's where we usually go for bike riding to pantai seri kenangan! makan lekor! lol! hehe today i woke up at ard 10am hehe it was a rough night for me last night. sleeping alone and just pillows! oh! not to forget thanks to the assistant cat - chi beng time ku nap petang and fidAh at night hehe meowss! had sausages for breakfast... n later that evening i went to mum bakery & hua ho tutong with my cuz - thanks adek! hehe then ke lee loi fatt tapau rojaks... planned to fecth my son at my mother in law but nda jadi bcoz my sister in law bring them jalan.. so i went back to kpg and wait for me hubby to fetch me up later.. :)

hellew all.. my kitchen is offically off today due to chef hubby is not available! not untill tomorrow. hehehe.. anyway, miss him already.. hes been away for 7hrs. uwaaaa!! current update that hes now still in limbang. kesian.. he lost his bag pack. i mean, the bag flew away!!aha! gerenti laju time corner nie. so i asked him to call me up tdi.. he said he check for the bag 3 kali round n if not mistaken, he saw a car stopped by and pick the bag and zoom away. lol!! funny jua sikit lah. i asked wht inside the bag.. ada baju, jeans, sejadah, tuala mandi and stuff..well...luckily the other bag this one ada magnet dpt stick arah fuel tank - still stick on his bike. hehe dlmnya stuff like passport, wallet and his bluecard... pheww.. alhamdulilah!! ani i guess he on his way to temburong n hopefully reach kk before midnight :) miss u 73. a loadddssss!!

hi all.. sorry for the late updates hhehe been really busy.. last sunday i was actually asked to bake marble cakes for one fuction in ripas school, i think. heheh utk 300 orng!!! guess i hve to make 600 pcs/small cuts of marble cakes..kepisan! i made aprox 8 tin cakes of cakes. phew!! alhamdulilah semuanya ok! well again for this coming friday, me bikin beef popia and egg tarts for 30 ppl for 4x4 trip to philpne. =))

anyway, just now in our crime scene aka the kitchen me was busy with cupcakesss!! ehehe i posted up some pictures below! enjoy ;)

Hi n hope u all doing good. Hehe I just finished up scrolling up n down my blogspot page… well comments? I think this blog is the most lively blog I ever had. Hahaha honestly I use to have like 4 blog before but none were active! this blog basically base on what Ive cooked yesterday, last night, today, lunch, dinner and randoms Lol I knowwwww! I guess IF, I repeat - IF my place was equip with espeed I pretty sure rant everything out everyday, even the crapiest, and even upload the simplest cookings like mengoreng kerupok lekor ?? N0t!! Hehe OKKAYY! speaking of kerupok lekor // this is what into right now… ive been sightseeing and also surveying many many lekor’s around tutong area, I guess the one in pantai seri kenangan beach still rocks! There’s this one vendor who sell two kinds of lekor’s, eh nda sama kan tu?? Any differences? Actually yep! One which is a bit darker tasted yummy. apa nya orng tutong – jiya anyam nie puta lekor itu. ehehe oh my grandfather rang me up last Tuesday and asked me to come down to my uncle’s restaurant (aliq café in Tg maya tutong ) thought it was some kind of family get-together kah.. hehe rupanya belanja makan kerupok lekor!! Lol! Me couldn’t finish it all! But with the love of lekor, my hubby helped me and wala!! Tinggal piring hehehe - alhamdulilah.. anyway, if u guys happened ke seri kenangan beach on every Sunday’s and saw one lady with an anonymous man beside her eating loads of lekor – rangka lagi tu. That probably me and my hubby tu hahahaha!

Some more to add - Finally my hubby get to eat bananas today! Well I just have to congratulate him! *`~ Congratulations hubby`~~**!!! hehe the story? he had been craving for banana’s since last week!! So today, he ate 5 Banana’s on his way back from work & when reached home he asked me to bake Banana Cupcakes with fresh cuts and mashed banana in it and I finished it with light cream banana toppings! Nyummie indeed!! You wont believe this, after taking short nap this evening, he even had burrito with BANANA in the inside! Again! LOLS!

well, i cooked simple mee tiaw goreng / fried noodles but yet delicious that night hehe..as for the ingredients, i added mix vege.sausages and fish balls. while me hubby cooked ala grill.

grilled sausages - i quite sure what was the mix sauce.. ill ask the chef hubby later on! comment? 8/10 :p

and on the 26th guess what i did for dessert??

A lot of things going on lately.. wonderful, bizarre, funny... well its pretty amusing!! fisrt off, sneek peak - fun donuts well.. still not satisfied with the no fun donuts. hehehe u knw its just not me who rant bout it.. i noticed quite a few friends of mine still babbling about fun donuts... they closed early lah.. no oreo donuts lah.. pricey lah.. sad but true.. :( well, tasted the oreo.. comment? why dnt use the oreo filling instead of sugar frosting..? and to be honest , for me it just dont taste like oreo... i wonder why most people said that the famous donut is oreo??
anyway, i support the fun donuts becoz when i crave for donuts i dnt have to screammmm for dunkin donuts hehehe... and just like my hubby said, pleaseee let the price be reasonable where everyone can pay, the less, the moderate and the rich.. :))

Assalamualaikum and hi to all viewers. Taste for thoughts is simply another blog of mine but here I suppose I kindly share recipes, notes on my latest cooking’s, food ratings and a little bit of random goings-on. ;) Anyway, I guess I really enjoy cooking big time!! the hubby enjoys cooking as much as I do, weeeeeeeeeee it’s an excitement!!! he helps me a lot in the kitchen too! – from cooking simple dishes to making/baking bread, pretzels, home made pizzas, cookies, biscuits . I thought sharing a little bit of what I like would be interesting… ;)
