time for updates!! espeed still down in some area in Tutong!suxs!!
Hellew all. The crime scene is recently on and off due to unavoidable commitments. So, we went hunting for food outside.. once in a while boleh lah makan di luar! =) Here is something to share about- last Wednesday, Me and hubby went to the food zone at Yayasan. We had dim sum and also bought donuts from FUN DONUTS. Yep finally we got the chance to buy and also to pick and choose their selection of donuts. Well, we bought half dozens of it. 2 ohhreoo’s, and each of Boston cream, lemon something hehe don’t remember the name, banana chocolate and also green tea… well, the taste was so – so. I mean seriously hehe I guess that is because me and hubby found its rival. Hehe talk about it later! Anyway, I snap a few pictures while having our lunch in food zone…

The next day, on a Thursday and still busy with our issues.. Hehe yes we had breakfast at home and later that afternoon we had lunch at the food court in Gadong, the mall. Hehe We went kampong cuisine this time! So we had nasi campur! – It’s a plain rice with any mix dishes u like!
Hmm… Sort of Buffet style! You get to pick any dishes that they already prepared and they will charged you on the amount of the dish you’ve pick. After deciding which food stalls and what food we wanted to eat,
We finally settled on this food stall FC4, named EMMA? Hehe I picked chicken in tomato sauce, Sambal terung and beef in soy sauce while the hubby choose, stir fry bean sprout, hati Ayam in curry sauce and cockles in tomato sauce. Well, for both plates it only cost us $5.00!! This means 2.50 per plate! And the food was excellent! I took pictures of our plates. Sorry for poor quality images.

chocolate muffins #1

CHOCOLATE MUFFINS

Hi all… while waiting for hubby back from work.. I entertained myself baking chocolate muffins hehe I post up few pictures and its recipe is listed below..

What you need is

250gm self raising flour
80gm of castor sugar
265gm of chocolate chips / or as many as u like
I also add chocolate rice – optional
1 egg
60gm of Butter (melt it first)
¾ of milk
Paper cups

Preparations:

Step one. Shift flour in a mixing bowl. Add chocolate chips and sugar. Mix well.
Step two. Add egg, butter and milk. Mix well.
Add milk if it’s dried up.
Lastly, put the mixture in a papercup. Bake for 20 – 25, 180°c. Or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

P/s: since the chocolate chips helps a lot and you don’t want the cake to be really sweet, please reduced sugar to 50gms... Enjoy!!

Marks: makes exactly 1 ½ dozens. It turns out that the muffin is quite crispy on the outside but soft in the inside.

hellew all.. im at my mother in law at the moment. its time for updates!! me n hubby went to the mall last tuesday.. there was this Pc fair and went to TelBru booth for espeed promotion, which only cost you 68/mnth with free registration and a modem. well, i hope everything is set up by the end of this month! yay! AAAnyway, i post up some pictures here taken frm my latest kicthen scenario. enjoy!!

first picture on the left - i named it "kandy fruity tart" (lol whats with this kandy thing!!) same goes with the one on the right.. i also made 5's small size tart that day. hehe oh just for the info, for the topping i use fresh cream with cheese and mix it with the cocktail leftover which the other half i baked it with the tart shells.. =) fruits in the inside and also more on the outside! ready to eat and serve chilled! wow!!!
eh!!! nah here also i post some pictures taken sometimes ago.. enjoy :))

left - this is kandy rainbow cake. simple yet delicious! my grandma loves this! hehe she asked me to bake this last mnth and already booked 4 trays for her coming birthday! lol and the list continues... egg tart and blueberry cheese tart and more!!!ROFL.

right - that was stir fry taugeh aka the bean sprout hehe i cooked it for our dinner some time in February. simple tapi umphh!!

well guess what, me and hubby gonna make pizza's soon.. aha just to refresh our secret recipes .. omg! this sux coz i just craving for pizza a second ago!!

randomness // going japanese - seaweed anyone?

hi all! im still stuck at my mother in law's hehe. have nothing to do but its all good just relaxing i guess, surfing the internet, yawning, listen to nat king cole on someone's blog lol. for lunch we had corned beef, sambal petai and sambal pisang - too bad i cant eat this! yep, i was supsrise coz havent heard of banana kena masak buat mcm sambal! hehe wanted to taste it but i knw tht would be a bad idea. well let me ask the hubby a sec. ok! it tasted sweet yet savoury? mcm peceri nenas. lol! elah! lupa ku mengambar tdi ehehe! anyway, i was thinking of this snack, - tomato seaweed and maybe i could make this seaweed for my new recipe invention.haha hmm... like, fried shitake mushrooms and mix it with tomato flavored seaweed? anyone up for a try? hehehe. oh well..
im off to kedai soon n hehe im thinking of rojak? anyone up for paying? ROFL. tuuu nah i can see u guys geleng2 kepala sudah! hehe yes you all!! ha i see u smiling! :

Assalamualaikum all. last night we went to kampong for family gathering. plus, celebrating my aunty, her daughther, alai balqis and also both of my brother's birhdays! - hm basically its for those who born in March hehe.. :) As usual i was busy in the kitchen - away this time, baking cupcakes for my beloved bro who recently craving for my cupcakes... hehe yea eebhu was there too! mana mau lapas ni ya ni!! :p
midge was there ( iya ni baik niiii...manis) and adek aka fried chicken addict ( lol sorry yaw couldnt think of ur TAG name yaw lol) wani CTL awu deh ku pikir Cacing Tikus Lipas wah! *hhehe* it was FUN! you know i was thinking of opening a bakery shop one day but i guess i just have to dream about it haha im pretty sure ive a lot of customers but 60% customernya tarus masuk dapur!!ahhaa uhuk! just joking u guyss..thank you all for the positive comments :) next gathering tani rasa yg lain lagi okay.. oh anyway, hhee my uncle usu - the one yg into cooking showed pictures of his lastest kitchen activity to me last nite. well im impressed!!! ada masakan ala grilled with presentation lagi tu hehe well he said he gona open his own food blog soon.. will share it with u guys if he tell me his website ok.. im at my mother in law at the moment. its getting dark but the time is just 4pm its going to rain soon!! oh there! my mother in law just off to kedai with my baby boy.. hehe im running out of idea. i guess i stop here for now. will update if ive to. ;)

hi all.. nothing much going on so far this week. my hubby is back from kk last sunday, the kitchen is back as well hehe... but since my hubby is on revive mode? things moves kinda slow at the moment lah.. hehe the boss still tired i guess.. anyways, we are on chicken fever for this week.. yep! chicken chicken and chicken! lol. we had lunch at ard 3pm.. makan simple sja.. fried chicken kampong style (lol ayam lagi) n den i was busy editing pictures for my hubby blogspot.. it was the picture from his KK trip. not all just half of it. some pictures taken was kinda blur!! so im here to patch things up mcm concealer! do visit www.newnolimitriders.blogspot.com for a sneak peak! =) anyways, im at my mother in law currently updating my blog next to my hubby. - hes busy updating his not so official blog for his bike group. hehe he hates it everytime i just seat next to him watching him blogging. im so annoying katanya! heheh! oh yea before im off, i would i like to wish two of my beloved brother's - abg joel and waki who celebrates their birhday today 27 of march!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! :))) p/s: will see u guys esok. i'll bring oreo cupcakes ok!! hehehe!
